Neuroloog Dr. Steele verliest zijn herinneringen aan de afgelopen dagen en krijgt te horen dat zijn vrouw op brute wijze is vermoord. Steele, zich bewust van de ontrouw van zijn achterbakse vrouw, gelooft dat hij mogelijk de moordenaar is geweest en roept de hulp in van zijn mooie verpleegster Stella om hem te hypnotiseren om zijn verloren herinneringen terug te krijgen.
