Captain High 'Bulldog' Drummond is pas teruggekeerd naar Engeland. Als hij in het duister naar huis rijdt, springt er plots een vrouw voor zijn wagen. Hij kan haar ontwijken, maar de vrouw komt ten val. Als hij haar wil bijbrengen, hoort hij plots hulpkreten gevolgd door schoten. Terwijl hij op onderzoek uitgaat, rijdt de vrouw weg met zijn wagen. Hij kan haar al snel terugvinden in het nabijgelegen Greystone Manor. Wanneer hij haar vindt, vraagt zij hem om hulp om haar uit haar benarde situatie te redden.
