Een groep astronauten, werkzaam in een ruimtestation, doet een schokkende ontdekking die alles wat ze denken te weten op zijn kop zet. Na een uitvoering van een wetenschappelijk experiment verdwijnt de Aarde. Wanneer er bovendien een ruimteveer verschijnt, moeten de astronauten vechten om te overleven.
