Prinses Rapunzel is haar naam. Als baby is ze gestolen uit het paleis van haar ouders en opgesloten in een verborgen hoge toren, waar ze onmogelijk uit kan ontsnappen. Ze snakt naar avontuur in haar leven en droomt ervan de toren te verlaten en een normaal tienermeisje te zijn. Dat avontuur kan eindelijk beginnen als de knapste, maar ook beruchtste crimineel van het koninkrijk, ridder Flynn, langs haar toren komt en via haar lange haar de toren kan klimmen. Ze maken samen de afspraak om uit de toren te ontsnappen en op avontuur te gaan. Onderweg ontmoeten ze vele hilarische figuren.
Nee, helaas is Rapunzel nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
