Een voormalig kindacteur wordt enkele dagen voor de trouwerij gedumpt door zijn verloofde. Zijn Duitse getuige neemt hem desondanks mee voor de huwelijksreis. Ze vertrekken naar de wildernis van de afgelegen bergen van Oregon. Hier moet hij zijn liefdesverdriet verwerken.
