Elphaba is te herkennen aan haar groene huid. Ze is goed bevriend met het verwende rijke meisje en goede fee Glinda. Ook kruisen een lokale prins en de gekwelde tovenaar van Oz haar pad. Elphaba is een politiek activiste die voor rechtvaardigheid strijdt en de gemaakte fouten uit het verleden wil rechtzetten. Terwijl duistere geheimen en persoonlijke drama's de wereld van Oz teisteren, groeit Elphaba uit tot de gemene heks van het westen die iedereen kent.
Nee, helaas is Wicked nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
