The Straight Story is een roadmovie gebaseerd op het waargebeurde verhaal van de 73-jarige Alvin Straight, die in 1994 op zijn grasmaaier een zes weken durende tocht onderneemt, vanuit Iowa naar Wisconsin, om zijn zieke broer op te zoeken.
Nee, helaas is The Straight Story nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
