In een buurt van New Delhi verblijft een kolonie magiërs, poppenspelers, vuurspuwers en andere kunstenaars. Onder hen ook Aja, die als kind al blijk gaf van een uitzonderlijk talent. Hij is een 'fakir', die kan zweven, sabels inslikken en hij is voorzien van een reeks van trucs, die hij tot in de puntjes beheerst. Ook verricht hij wonderbaarlijke genezingen.
Nee, helaas is The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
