Ashley is een jonge vrouw met een lastig verleden. Nadat haar oudere zus gaat studeren keert ze terug naar haar geboortestad om er bij haar tante Tanya te gaan wonen. Samen met haar beste jeugdvriend houdt Ashley een seance. Het is de bedoeling contact te leggen met haar overleden moeder. De seance gaat echter fout en een kwaadaardige geest hecht zich aan Ashley. Tanya schakelt de hulp in van een dominee en een pastoor in een poging Ashley te redden.
