Een jonge zakenman wordt wakker in een hotelkamer. Deze is van binnenuit afgesloten en naast hem ligt het dode lichaam van zijn minnares. Hij huurt meteen een zeer prestigieuze advocaat in. In een hectische periode van één nacht, proberen ze samen te verduidelijken wat er precies gebeurd is.
