Als bij Futaba kanker wordt geconstateerd en ze te horen krijgt dat ze nog maar twee maanden te leven heeft, besluit ze direct een lijst te maken met zaken die ze nog snel wil regelen. Bovenaan staat het opsporen van haar vervreemde echtgenoot. Maar ze maakt zich vooral ook zorgen om dochter Azumi, die op school wordt gepest en een ernstig gebrek aan zelfvertrouwen heeft.
