Mr. Freeze is van plan om Gotham City in zijn ijzige greep te krijgen door de hele stad in een permanente winter te dompelen. Ondertussen lukt het de verleidelijke Poison Ivy om de band tussen Batman en Robin te verpesten, en is de butler Alfred stervende. Mr. Freeze is de enige die hem kan redden. Alfred's nichtje helpt als Batgirl om de stad te redden.
