Mal keert terug naar het eiland waar ze oorspronkelijk vandaan komt. Eenmaal aangekomen komt zij tot de ontdekking dat haar aartsvijand, genaamd Uma, zichzelf benoemd heeft tot koningin. Uma, die nog steeds boos is omdat ze niet naar het magische land Auradon gestuurd werd, leidt er tevens een bende piraten. Uma en haar bende blijken duistere plannen te hebben.
Nee, helaas is Descendants 2 nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
