Zeven tieners gaan naar een blokhut tijdens de zomervakantie. Eén van de tieners is een kenner van horrorfilms en voorziet bij aankomst veel ellende. De anderen vinden dat hij gewoon teveel horrorfilms kijkt en niet geloofwaardig is. Er is echter wel "iets" buiten aanwezig, en langzamerhand komen de vele horrorclichés ook daadwerkelijk uit...
