De zeventienjarige Erica Vandross is geen doorsnee tiener. Na school verleidt ze samen met haar twee beste vrienden oudere mannen om hen daarna te kunnen afpersen. Erica's opstandig gedrag vloeit voort uit de afwezigheid van haar biologische vader die in de gevangenis zit en haar opvoeding overliet aan haar vrijzinnige moeder. Haar leven verandert helemaal wanneer Bob, de nieuwe lover van haar moeder, samen met zijn zoon Luke bij hen komt inwonen. Luke kampt met overgewicht en komt net uit de afkickkliniek.
