Brian is dyslectisch. Hoewel zijn juf hem probeert te helpen, voelt hij zich hierdoor ongelukkig en wordt ook gepest door andere leerlingen. Ook thuis gaat het niet zo goed. Brian wordt al snel een rebel en begint vandalistische acties op de gang op zijn school te vertonen.
