Morgan en zijn vrienden gaan op vakantie op een afgelegen Canadees eiland waar ze plots worden aangevallen door een zwerm reusachtige wespen. Ze zoeken bescherming voor de monsters in een nabijgelegen schuur, die echter bewoond is door enorme kippen. Na een uitgebreide strooptocht over het eiland blijken alle dieren op een of andere manier buitensporig groot te zijn.
Nee, helaas is The Food of the Gods nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
