Miles, die diep in de schulden zit bij een lokale gangster, overtuigt zijn vriendin Lauren en broer Liam om een verdwijning in scène te zetten in de wildernis van Alaska. Terwijl het stadje er alles aan doet om Miles te vinden begint de lokale sheriff te vermoeden dat er een vuil spelletje gespeeld wordt. Als de sheriff dichter bij de waarheid komt heeft Liam moeite om het geheim te bewaren. Samen met Lauren probeert hij de sadistische gangster en de hardnekkige politie voor te blijven voordat Miles voorgoed verdwenen is.
