De volleybalspeelster Caroline "Line" Found komt bij een ongeluk om het leven waarna haar familie, vrienden en school ontroostbaar achterblijven. Ook haar team lijdt enorm onder het verlies en bovendien staan de meisjes niet meer zo scherp als voorheen. Ze verliezen de volgende wedstrijden tot hun coach Kathy er genoeg van heeft.
