Lee, een voormalig icoon uit de westernfilms, heeft een goed leven door zijn gouden stem in te zetten voor commercials en daarnaast wiet te roken. Nadat hij een 'lifetime achievement award' in ontvangst heeft genomen krijgt hij onverwachts nieuws. Hij overziet zijn verleden en een toevallige ontmoeting met een cynische komiek zorgt ervoor dat hij een blik in de toekomst werpt.
