Karlon werd geboren in Pedreira dos Húngaros, een sloppenwijk in de buitenwijken van Lissabon. Hij is een pionier op het gebied van Kaapverdische creoolse rap. Hij loopt weg uit het woonproject waar hij naartoe is verhuisd.
