Doc Wallace vraagt Johnny Trent terug te keren naar de ranch van zijn vader in Arizona. Bij aankomst horen Trent en zijn partner Kansas dat iemand de ranch van zijn invalide vader probeert af te nemen omdat de ranch plots waardevol bezit blijkt te zijn. Op zijn speurtocht naar de onbekende vijand van zijn vader wordt Trent terzijde gestaan door Wayne Carson en Martha Brooks, de vrouw die voor zijn vader zorgt.
