Aurora Teagarden en haar vriend Martin zijn dolblij als ze onverwacht bezoek krijgen van zijn nichtje en haar nieuwe baby. Hun opwinding is van korte duur wanneer zijn nichtje verdwijnt en de baby achterblijft. Opnieuw wordt Aurora meegesleurd in een dodelijk onderzoek terwijl ze alles op het spel zet om Martin te helpen zich te herenigen met zijn familie.
