Erica Baron is een jonge archeologe die naar Egypte reist om te zoeken naar de verloren schat van Tutencamin. Daar aangekomen vindt ze niet alleen de schat maar raakt ze verstrikt in een web van moord, diefstal, verraad, liefde en de vloek van een mummie.
