Psychiater Isaac Barr wordt verliefd op de zuster van één van zijn cliënten. Ze is echter getrouwd met een gangster, die ze haat. Barr probeert haar over te halen om van hem te scheiden, maar ze is bang voor de gevolgen. Wanneer ze op een dag haar echtgenoot aanvalt, probeert Barr haar uit de problemen te houden.
