De zestienjarige Jessie en Angela zijn van plan Jessie’s verjaardag te vieren aan het strand van Galveston (Texas). Met het geld, dat bestemd is voor de huur heeft Angela daar een strandhuisje gehuurd. Maar dan worden ze beroofd en belanden ze in de gevangenis. Wanneer ze vervolgens ontslagen worden door hun baas, dreigen ze blut op straat te belanden. Ze bedenken een plan om aan geld te komen…
