Eric is een populaire schrijver van boeken over het vrijgezellenleven. Tijdens de kerstdagen moet hij oppassen op zijn neefje en nichtje. Hij vraagt buurvrouw April om hulp. April is dol op kerst en probeert bij Eric het kerstgevoel aan te wakkeren. April laat Eric langzaam ontdooien, ook op het gebied van liefde.
