De film volgt drie vrouwen vanaf Nieuwjaarsavond van het ene jaar en de film eindigt op nieuwjaaravond van het daaropvolgende jaar. De drie vrouwen wonen samen en hebben drie mannelijke beste vrienden. Ze kennen elkaar aanvankelijk nog niet maar leren elkaar kennen naarmate de film vordert. Hun relaties worden daarbij steeds vertrouwder.
