Sarah is sinds kort weduwe, nadat haar man neergestoken werd. Heden voedt ze haar zoontje Ben alleen op. Tot haar afgrijzen starten de autoriteiten geen onderzoek naar de moord op haar man. Op een dag ontmoet ze Tito die een crimineel verleden met zich meedraagt en haar daarin meesleurt. Sarah wil er niets mee te maken hebben, maar ruikt tegelijkertijd de kans om Tito te gebruiken in haar voordeel. Ze hoopt via hem meer te weten te komen over de moord op haar man.
