Boog, Elliot en al hun vriendjes uit het bos zijn terug met een gloednieuw avontuur, en dat speelt zich deze keer af in een circus. Wanneer Boog s vrienden kiezen voor familiale verplichtingen in plaats van hun jaarlijkse mannen- uitstap, besluit hij er alleen op uit te trekken. Onderweg stuit hij op een circus en Boog wisselt van plaats met de sprekend op hem lijkende circusgrizzly.
