French is de eigenaar van een sportschool en leert er mensen vechtsporten. Het gaat echter niet zo goed met de sportschool, waardoor French er moeite mee heeft zijn rekeningen te betalen. Om wat bij te verdienen gaat hij werken voor de beruchte Tommy, een crimineel uit Californië.
