Cara heeft het verleden en haar getroebleerde familie achter zich gelaten. Terwijl ze de grip op haar leven aan het verliezen is, krijgt ze een ongewoon verzoek van haar moeder. Ze gaat in op het verzoek en keert terug naar het rustige eiland waar ze haar jeugd doorbracht. Cara gaat er aan de slag met het strandhuisje van haar familie, dat een opknapbeurt nodig heeft. Gedurende deze tijd komt Cara opnieuw in contact met een oude vlam en ontdekt ze waarom haar moeder haar verzocht terug te keren.
