Een man die rouwt om het verlies van zijn verloofde ontdekt een dagboek dat ze bijhield, waarin een kant van haar wordt beschreven die hij nooit heeft gekend. In een poging het te begrijpen, probeert hij op een ongebruikelijke manier contact op te nemen door een advertentie te plaatsen waarin hij vraagt om vrouwendagboeken en naar hun verhalen te luisteren.
