In een poging zijn studie te kunnen betalen lanceert Brooks Rattigan een datingapp waarmee hij het stand-in vriendje kan uithangen in eender welke situatie ook. Hierdoor doet hij zich elke avond als een ander persoon voor en ontdekt hij dat de echte Brooks helemaal anders is dan hij aanvankelijk dacht.
