Charlotte is volop met haar dansgezelschap aan het repeteren als ze het nieuws te horen krijgt dat haar oma Mari op sterven ligt. Ze trekt naar Dorset, waar ze samen met haar zus en moeder haar oma bijstaat. Intussen ontdekt ze tevens dat ze in verwachting is. Terwijl ze dit poogt een plaats te geven, lopen de spanningen binnen de familie op.
