In het Detroit van de toekomst wordt er een grote robot gebouwd om de misdaad te bestrijden, waarmee het echter niet helemaal volgens plan gaat. Wanneer de agent Alex Murphy door een straatbende wordt vermoord wordt zijn lichaam gebruikt om een zogenaamde RoboCop te bouwen.
Nee, helaas is RoboCop nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
