In de week voor Kerstmis ruilt de hertogin van Montenaro genaamd Margaret van plaats met de lookalike Stacy, een Amerikaanse afkomstig uit Chicago. De zaken worden ingewikkeld wanneer Margaret met een beetje hulp van magie verliefd wordt op de collega van Stacy.
