Emma Colvin is een accountant uit New York. Haar hart breekt als haar vriend haar verlaat net voordat ze een romantische reis naar België zouden maken vanwege Valentijnsdag. Een vriend haalt haar over om alleen naar België af te reizen. Daar ontmoet ze de beroemde chocolatier Luc Simon die meedoet aan een wedstrijd vanwege een koninklijk huwelijk. Luc ontdekt dat Emma in de keuken ook haar mannetje staat en al snel slaat de vonk over tussen de twee.
