De film vertelt het verhaal van Gwyn, de dochter van Robin Hood, die in de voetsporen van haar vader treedt, wanneer die gevangen genomen is door prins John. Koning Richard is overleden en diens zoon Philip is de rechtmatige troonopvolger, maar hij is in Frankrijk en te bang om Prince John te confronteren.
