Alicia Royale is een modekoningin. Zij besluit als promotiestunt een groots pyamafeest te houden. Op de avond van de happening wordt één van de modellen dood aangetroffen in het zwembad. Zelfmoord luidt het politiebesluit. Zoë Taylor denkt daar anders over. Zij vraagt privé-detective Dean Thomas om de zaak te onderzoeken.
