Raqqa, Syrië, in de lente van 2015. Faustine ontdekt de hel waarin ze is beland met haar 5-jarige zoon. In Parijs zijn Gabriel en Adnan, twee jonge activisten, bekommerd om de situatie waarin Sylvain, de echtgenoot van Faustine, verkeert. Ze komen overeen een missie met een hoog risico uit te voeren.
