Als kind was Kelsie getuige van de moord op haar grootmoeder Deborah Voorhees, een beroemde 'Friday the 13th'-actrice. Wanneer andere actrices uit de franchise het slachtoffer worden van een moordenaar, wordt een volwassen Kelsie het doelwit van een gestoorde fan die de sterfscènes van de horrorfilms in het echte leven wil nabootsen. Terwijl ze haar leven riskeert om de beste vriendin van haar grootmoeder te redden, Dee Wallace, tracht Kelsie te ontdekken wie de moordenaar is.
