Rachel is geadopteerd door een gezin uit de hogere klasse. Op haar zeventiende krijgt ze echter haar eigen zin, verlaat ze haar familie en stopt ze met haar studie om een callgirl te worden. Kort nadat ze begint met werken, besluit ze een blog te schrijven over de ervaringen die ze opdoet. Sommige klanten vinden dat Rachel op een surfmeisje lijkt en daarom noemt ze zichzelf "Surfistinha".
