Thomas keert terug naar de boerderij waar hij opgegroeid is. Twaalf jaar geleden verliet hij de boerderij. Op zijn broer na woont Thomas' hele familie er nog. Ondertussen zijn Thomas' zesjarige neefje Alex en diens moeder Mona ook op de boerderij komen wonen.
