Portret van de compromisloze milieuactivist Paul Watson, die zich al veertig jaar inzet voor bescherming van de oceanen. Het is tevens een relaas over het belang van de oceanen voor het voortbestaan van onze wereld. De oceanen zijn de sleutel tot het leven op aarde. Als we niet goed voor ze zorgen, zullen mensen niet in staat zijn te overleven. Dat is de diepgewortelde overtuiging die Paul Watson ertoe brengt zichzelf volledig op te offeren voor het milieu. Met de man zelf als gids, leidt Watson ons door zijn uitzonderlijke leven.
