Het verhaal van de dood van Cree-man Coulten Boushie, en de beweging tegen onrecht in het Canadese rechtssysteem die eruit voortkwam. Regisseur Tasha Hubbard toont met dit verhaal een beeld van de Canadese geschiedenis van kolonialisme en de invloed op de oorspronkelijke bevolking. In augustus 2016 werd Coulten Boushie, een 22-jarige Cree-man, van achteren in zijn hoofd geschoten door boer Gerald Stanley, op wiens terrein hij zich had begeven met een paar vrienden.
