Wendy, een ervaren immigratieambtenaar, krijgt een spraakmakende asielzaak aangeboden, beoordeeld op haar vermogen om asielzoekers snel en klinisch af te wijzen. Door haar ondervraging moet ze ontdekken of Haile liegt en een meer sinistere reden heeft om asiel aan te vragen.
