In een abdij in de Lorraine wordt een lijk gevonden. De esoterische tekens en bijzondere symboliek rondom het lijk geven al aan dat het geen normale moord is. Inspecteurs Niemans en Reda worden op de zaak gezet, nadat een dubbelganger van Jezus met de moord in verband wordt gebracht.
