George Oppenheimer heeft twee problemen: een excentrieke vrouw en een losgeslagen kind. Op zijn werk heeft zijn team een computer met persoonlijkheid uitgevonden. George bewondert de computer om zijn snelheid, intelligentie en elegantie. Wanneer alles in het leven van George verkeerd gaat, stelt de computer zelfmoord als enige oplossing voor.
