Frank Farmer is een voormalig medewerker van de Secret Service. Hij wordt ingehuurd om de populaire zangeres Rachel Marron te beschermen, die wordt belaagd door een stalker. Zij is echter niet bereid om haar leventje enigszins aan te passen, dus Frank heeft zijn handen vol om alles in goede banen te leiden. Tussen de werkzaamheden door overtreedt Frank de belangrijkste regel van een bodyguard: wordt nooit verliefd.
